Tuesday, September 8: four at once
The week front-loads. Four releases share Tuesday, and they cover four different corners of the hobby, so plan your budget before the day starts rather than during it.
2026 Topps Museum Collection Baseball is the premium option, a single-pack box that pairs multiple autographed relic and on-card autograph hits per box. Alongside it, preorders open for 2026 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball, the vintage-styled release that does not hit the street until December. That gap is worth understanding: putting money down Tuesday reserves a product that ships months from now.
Also on Tuesday, preorders open for 2026 Bowman Football, Topps' Bowman-branded college and NFL rookie prospect release, and for 2026 Topps Mars Attacks Christmas, a holiday-themed installment of the classic sci-fi non-sport line.
Wednesday, September 9: Bowman Chrome Baseball
2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Hobby Box lands the day after Bowman Football preorders open. This is the chrome-refractor edition of the flagship Bowman prospect release, and it is typically the busiest single day of any Bowman cycle.
If you are chasing both the football and baseball sides of the Bowman brand this week, note that they are separate transactions on separate days.
Thursday and Friday: soccer, then WWE
2026 Topps MLS Chrome Soccer arrives Thursday, September 10. It is a chrome-format release covering Major League Soccer, and it includes the first MLS card of Antoine Griezmann. First-card status tends to drive early demand on a release like this, so treat Thursday as a real launch day rather than a quiet one.
2026 Topps Universe WWE closes the week on Friday, September 11. It covers the current roster, Legends and the NXT rookie class, with two autographs and a relic per hobby box.
Checkout mechanics this week
Every release on this week's calendar uses standard checkout. That means the usual routine: be on the page at launch, have your details saved, and expect the fastest carts to win.
There is no EQL raffle entry on any of these seven drops. When a release does run through EQL, the mechanic is different in a way that changes how you prepare. You enter a raffle, wait to see if you are selected, and if you are, you buy at retail price. There is no refreshing and no speed advantage. Nothing this week works that way, so budget your attention for the actual launch times.
Coming up next
The following week stays busy. 2026 Topps Update Series Baseball, the flagship set covering the second half of the season, arrives Monday, September 14, and 2026 Topps Neon Marvel follows Tuesday, September 15.
Thursday, September 17 brings two very different releases: 2026-27 Topps Premier League Soccer, trimmed to a leaner 300-card checklist for the new season, and 2025-26 Topps Definitive Basketball, an ultra-low-print-run product built around on-card autographs, booklet autographs and game-used memorabilia. 2025-26 Topps Museum Collection UEFA Club Competitions Soccer closes that week on Friday, September 18, applying the Museum autograph, relic and autograph-relic format to Champions League, Europa League and Conference League players.
