Tuesday, October 20 - Topps Chrome x Jennie Hobby Box
The 2026 Topps Chrome x Jennie hobby box is the first Topps Chrome release built around solo K-pop artist Jennie Kim, with the checklist centered on career photoshoots and concert looks.
This is a standard checkout release. There is no raffle or entry window in front of it, so availability comes down to being on the product page when it goes live and getting through the cart.
Entertainment Chrome releases tend to pull a different crowd than sports Chrome, so treat the launch window as competitive even if you do not follow the category closely.
Friday, October 23 - 2026-27 Topps Basketball Blaster Box
Friday brings the retail-focused blaster configuration of the flagship 2026-27 Topps Basketball set for the new NBA season.
Blasters are the retail tier of the flagship release, so this is the lower-cost entry point into the 2026-27 set rather than the hobby configuration. Checkout is standard, same as Tuesday's drop.
No EQL entries on the board this week
Every release in this window uses standard checkout, which is worth flagging because the other common mechanic works nothing like it.
With an EQL raffle, you submit an entry during a set window and then wait to find out whether you were selected to buy at retail price. Nothing is reserved and nothing is charged until you are picked. With standard checkout, there is no entry step and no waiting list. You go to the product page at launch, add to cart, and complete payment, and speed decides the outcome.
Plan this week around launch timing rather than around entry deadlines.
Coming up next weekend
Four releases land at the end of the month. The 2026-27 Topps Holiday Basketball Countdown Calendar arrives Friday, October 30, an advent-style box with a sealed pack or card behind each daily door.
Saturday, October 31 has two: 2026 Bowman Sterling Baseball, the on-card autograph prospect release in Bowman's premium Sterling line, and 2026 Bowman University Chrome Football, the Chrome-format college football prospect release. All four are listed as standard checkout.
