Three hobby boxes open the week. 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball is the cosmic-treatment entry in the Chrome line. On the football side, 2026 Bowman U Best Football covers college players under the Bowman University Best banner, and 2026 Topps Inception Football is the rookie-focused Inception release.
All three are hobby box format and all three use standard checkout. If you want more than one, decide ahead of time which tab you load first, because they share a drop day.
Tuesday, October 6
2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball arrives as the flagship basketball set for the 2026-27 season. It is the only basketball release on the calendar in the next two weeks.
The same day brings 2026 Topps Mars Attacks Christmas, a holiday-themed installment of the Mars Attacks non-sport line. Both are hobby boxes on standard checkout.
Wednesday, October 7
The heaviest day of the week is three baseball releases at once. 2026 Topps Museum Collection Baseball Hobby Box is the premium option, a single-pack product pairing multiple autographed relic and on-card autograph hits per box.
2026 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Hobby Box is the vintage-styled release that mixes baseball with non-sport subjects, a tradition that has run through the line for years. 2026 Bowman Chrome Baseball Sapphire Edition rounds out the day as the Sapphire-parallel version of the Bowman Chrome prospect release.
Three baseball hobby boxes on one morning is a real budget question, not just a logistics one. Museum Collection and Bowman Chrome Sapphire sit at very different ends of the product, so it is worth deciding which one you actually want before Wednesday rather than during it.
How checkout works this week
Every release listed above uses standard checkout. That means you are loading the page at launch and completing the purchase yourself, first come first served.
None of this week's drops are EQL raffles. On an EQL release you enter a raffle and wait to be selected to buy at retail price, which removes the refresh race entirely. When one of those shows up on the calendar we flag it, because the preparation is completely different: an entry window you can submit at your leisure versus a launch you have to be present for.
Coming up next
The following week picks up on Wednesday, October 14 with 2026 Topps Update Series Baseball, the flagship Update set covering the second half of the season, alongside 2026 Topps Neon Marvel. 2026 Topps Chrome Formula 1 follows on Thursday, October 15.
Friday, October 16 brings two more: the 2026 Topps Update Series Baseball Retail Box, covering traded players, rookies and season highlights, and the 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball Team Samurai Japan Collection Hobby Box, a standalone Chrome release built around Japan's national program and World Baseball Classic roster.
